February 03, 2006 - June 23, 2020
Frederick Warnick, age 14, of Kingwood, WV, passed away peacefully at 3:35 Tuesday afternoon, June 23, 2020, surrounded by his closest loved ones and family members.
Born February 03, 2006, Fred was one of the best parts of his family’s life. Picked out by his mother, Kimberly George-Warnick, as a puppy, he grew up alongside his dear sisters, McKenna and Madeline Warnick, since their early childhood. Despite living through many different hardships, Fred always remained friendly and loving to everyone he met, and always gifted everyone with his wonderful smile.
A unique and eccentric dog, he was always complimented for his handsome looks, despite only having one eye the majority of his life. His goofy and affectionate demeanor always brought joy to his family for years, and he spent his life daily as closest to his owners as he possibly could be. Whichever room his family members occupied, Fred stayed right there with them.
Throughout his life, he loved tummy-rubs, butt-scratches, squeaky and stuffed toys alike, getting into the garbage, and most of all - eating dog treats and cookies. He always spent his days napping by the sliding glass front door, waiting for either his sisters or his mother to return home from their daily affairs. He loved to lay by his best buddy Michael Warnick’s feet and watch TV together.
While he would never admit it, he enjoyed spending time with his much younger Golden Retriever companion, David, and often tolerated his younger friend’s extremely excited and playful behavior. His favorite nights were spent sleeping and cuddling on his mother’s bed, and his favorite days were spent paying a visit to his grandfather, Arthur George.
In accordance with family wishes, cremation services have been provided by Luke Massey Pet Cremation in Arthurdale and we are honored to care for Fred and the Warnick family.
